Radiology Aide II – 30 Hours – Norwood

SUMMARY

Under general supervision, performs duties of Radiology Aide I and also assists with advanced level procedures such as stereotactic, ultrasound, and guided core needle biopsies. Participates as a member of the imaging team and is dedicated to delivering excellent customer service. Provides related clerical duties to the practice, demonstrating a high level of competence.

Note: Incumbent must be assisting with the advanced level procedures to use this job code.

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit required. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.

EXPERIENCE

Skills and experience typically acquired through at least three years’ experience in a clinical setting, preferably diagnostic imaging. Familiarity with medical terminology preferred. Previous experience in a job that requires the ability to multi-task and prioritize activities preferred.

SKILLS

Strong interpersonal, customer service, time management, computer and organizational skills required.
