The Mass General Brigham Medical Group is a system-led operating entity formed by Mass General Brigham to deliver high quality, low cost, innovative community-based ambulatory care. Job Summary

Responsible for providing an advanced clinical level of quality patient care while producing radiologic images used for patient diagnosis and treatment. The responsibilities also include completing x-rays effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care possible in order to provide the most remarkable patient experience.

-Determines appropriate radiographic technique based on anatomy and patients condition to obtain quality images for radiologists; this level may provide an advanced clinical level of patient care.
-Prepares patients for diagnostic procedures which may include transporting, transferring, immobilizing, and position patients.
-Explains procedures to patients taking into consideration physical and emotional needs.
-Records digital images as directed for radiologist interpretation.
-Maintains pertinent records.
-Provides radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
-May provide assistance to Radiology Technologist Students and new staff in performing Radiologic exams, sterile technique, and proper stocking of supplies in radiographic rooms.


 

Qualifications

Education
Associate's Degree Diagnostic Imaging required


Licenses and Credentials
Required Registered Technologist [R.T.(ARRT)] - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Preferred Basic Life Support [BLS Certification]


Experience
Radiology Technician experience with multiple patient populations 2-3 years required

Tuesday: 9 am to 1 pm

Thursday: 11 am to 7:30 pm

Week 2

Sunday: 9am to 1pm
