Radiologic Technologist
**Employment Type:** Part time **Shift:** Rotating Shift **Description:** **What Perks and Benefits Can You Look Forward to?** + Tuition reimbursement + Career Development Services + Competency-based increases. **What does the Radiologic Technologist do:** + Performs a wide variety of diagnostic examinations which results in the production of diagnostic radiographs. + Positions patients and adjusts equipment for taking x-rays following established procedures. + Follows prescribed safety standards in operating radiographic equipment. + Assists radiologists in performing routine and/or special procedures. Administers specific contrast and barium solutions as directed by the Radiologist or other physician in accordance with established guidelines. + Provides instruction to x-ray students. + Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the needs of the age group served. **What Does the Radiologic Technologist Need:** + Completion of American Registry of Radiographic Technologists (ARRT) approved Radiologic Technology program. + Current ARRT registry required within 6 months of the date of hire + Must maintain continuing education credits per biennium to retain registry status in compliance with the CE requirements of their certifying organization for the imaging modality in which they perform services. + Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within three months of hire. + New grad’s are welcome to apply! + _Preferred:_ Two years of experience as a Registered radiographer. **Our Commitment** Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
