Location: Kansas City, MO.
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
Pay Rate: $27.00/hour
Assignment Type: Temporary (9-month contract)
We’re seeking a highly skilled Radio Frequency Technician to support our electronics and RF system operations in a hands-on environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work on advanced RFID radio transceivers used in critical field and transportation applications.
What You’ll DoPerform electrical testing (AC & DC) per installation requirements
Troubleshoot and repair field-test failures and non-conforming units
Program and test radio communications equipment
Read and interpret schematics and drawings; diagnose to component level
Use specialized test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum/network analyzers)
Build, assemble, and verify units to meet detailed customer specifications
Document findings and complete electronic reporting
Collaborate with engineers and internal teams
What You BringMinimum 4 years of experience in Electronic Technology or equivalent training
Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude with the ability to work independently
Experience working with RF systems, especially RFID or 2-way radios
Skilled in soldering, component-level troubleshooting, and using diagnostic tools
Proficient in reading schematics and technical documentation
Familiarity with radio programming software and Windows-based systems
Ability to clearly communicate technical information
Physical Requirements & ExpectationsAbility to work with hand and power tools safely
Stand or sit for long periods
Maintain precision and attention to detail under minimal supervision

Pay Details: $27.00 per week
