Here, you will work alongside passionate and dedicated caregivers, receive endless support and appreciation, and build a rewarding career making meaningful differences in the lives of others. **A caregiver in this position works Days, from 6:00am-5:00pm.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Provide care and delivery of radiation therapy to both adult and pediatric patients. + Are proficient in advanced therapy delivery systems such as Gamma Knife, High Dose Rate Brachytherapy and Total Body Irradiation techniques. + Monitor and document patient's condition and report any adverse reactions. + Coordinate treatment delivery with acute care patients (ICU, NICU, and PICU). Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Graduate from a School of Radiation Therapy Technology approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEA) or be registry eligible. + Board certified Registered Radiation Therapist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), R.T.(R)(T) (ARRT) in good standing. + Current state licensure if required by law in the state in which you are employed. + Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider, American Heart Association (AHA). + Experience with radiation oncology specific electronic medical record as well as record and verify. Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Experience with external radiation therapy, IMRT, IGRT and CT simulation.
