This is a great opportunity to join a well-established organization and build a career within the financial industry. **Position Overview** The Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing delinquent accounts in a timely and professional manner. This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to negotiate payment solutions, resolve delinquent accounts, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. **Key Responsibilities** + Meet performance goals for collection efforts, including call volume, contact percentages, and payment arrangements. + Place or receive calls with delinquent customers and negotiate payment solutions. + Identify reasons for delinquency and determine the best course of action. + Accurately document all collection activities in the system. + Communicate account status with supervisors and other internal teams. + Perform skip tracing and order updated credit reports as needed. + Process payments and account maintenance transactions. + Ensure all assigned accounts are managed according to company procedures. **Qualifications** **Required:** + 6+ months of late-stage collections experience (auto or home preferred). + Previous customer service, collections, or sales background. + High school diploma or equivalent. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Good decision-making and problem-solving skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint). + Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. **Preferred:** + Bilingual (English/Spanish). **Pay Details:** $19.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
