R2R GL Accountant MX
Job Description

We are looking for an organized and proactive General Ledger Accountant to join our Shared Service Center (SSC) team. This role manages core general ledger activities, including fixed asset accounting, intercompany reconciliation, and monthly closings. The candidate will collaborate across departments to ensure timely, accurate reporting while maintaining compliance with internal controls and standards.

Job Responsibilities

Manage and update fixed asset register, track AUC, and handle monthly depreciation

Perform intercompany reconciliations, follow up on balances, ensure compliance with policies

Support month-end closing by reviewing and finalizing financial records, ensuring accuracy

Ensure transactions meet internal controls and standards; support audits with documentation

Support automation and standardization to improve accuracy and efficiency

Identify process improvements within SSC

Prepare timely balance sheet reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, ensure audit readiness, and escalate risks when needed Background & Skills

Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field

2–4 years in GL accounting, ideally in SSC or multinational setting

Knowledge of IFRS / local GAAP

English (B2) spoken and written

ERP system use (SAP, Oracle)

Strong Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

European language or Portuguese is a plus

GL experience in SSC / BPO

Fixed asset and intercompany module experience in SAP or Oracle

Familiarity with reconciliation or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
