The Position

“The Opportunity”

As a PEC SME, you have extensive expertise in Roche accounting, systems, architecture, controls, and process flows across all regions, enabling effective resolution of complex accounting issues and technical challenges through financial systems. You coordinate and execute continuous improvement initiatives, oversee the implementation of best practices, and ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulations. You play a key role in training and mentoring team members, maintaining a strong training network, and supporting task coordination while serving as an operational backup for Team Leads. Additionally, you lead special projects, strategic implementations, and gap resolution while managing critical financial tasks such as general and management accounting, closing, reporting, and quality improvement. Your responsibilities encompass stakeholder collaboration, test coordination, change management, KPI tracking, and active participation in workshops and team events to drive operational excellence within the organization.

“Who you are”

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with solid knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and auditing principles.Strong expertise in Finance Shared Services, operational accounting processes, and related technologies (e.g., SAP, BlackLine, FINCO).Proven analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines.Exceptional collaboration, stakeholder management, and change management skills, along with the ability to work independently with limited guidance.Proficiency in English and Spanish, with advanced skills in spreadsheets, databases, and other applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, G-Suite).

“Preferred”

Finance/Accounting experience 6+ years

•Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus

•Six Sigma and Scrum Certifications are a plus.
