**What you'll bring to the team** We are looking for a qualified and proactive **Accountant** to join our Global Record to Report team at Basingstoke within Corporate Finance. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, international environment where you’ll play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial reporting. As a trusted point of contact for stakeholders across the business, you’ll support decision-making through accurate reporting, robust financial controls, and a commitment to operational excellence. You’ll also have the chance to lead on process reviews, identify improvements, and help shape the future of our finance function. **Key responsibilities:** + Deliver accurate and timely month-end reporting across multiple international legal entities. + Supervise accounting activities and support team members in the Senior Accountant’s absence. + Manage balance sheet reconciliations and oversee the process to ensure data integrity. + Partner with stakeholders to resolve accounting queries and ensure audit compliance. + Contribute to continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery. + Support the Head of Capital Accounting with ad hoc projects and initiatives. **Qualifications & Experience** + Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA. + Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial analysis. + Strong knowledge of shared service centre (SSC) and Record to Report (R2R) processes. + Experience leading or contributing to process improvement initiatives. + Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder requirements. + A proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills. + Leadership and the ability to influence and inspire others. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills with confidence engaging at all levels. + Ability to develop and support others to achieve high performance. + Critical thinking with a focus on risk, controls, and practical solutions. + Determination to deliver results and meet agreed timelines. **Benefits** We’re growing fast and alongside a fun and friendly environment, we offer a fabulous package and amazing prospects – ideal if you’re already fantastic and want to become even better (our magic can help here).
