R & O Maintenance Supervisor
In this role, you will supervise a team of individual contributors who maintain and repair manufacturing equipment. You will leverage your maintenance experience and skills to lead some of the world's most talented maintenance mechanics. You will use your leadership abilities to contribute to driving safety, productivity, and exceptional quality in the Honeywell Geismar production facility. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams and, you will prioritize team workload and drive continuous improvement. As a supervisor, you will coach your team members in technical and behavioral competencies to deliver high-impact business results. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES + Lead plant maintenance program + Lead project teams + Supervise maintenance technicians and mechanics + Resolve technical issues + Equipment troubleshooting + Drive productivity improvements + Enforce compliance + Drive culture of continuous improvement + Employee Development + Resource management CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS + Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision or a related role + Extensive knowledge of mechanical repair + Ability to troubleshoot processes and equipment + Strong guiding and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team + Excellent communication and people-oriented skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams + Knowledge of maintenance best practices and reliability-centered maintenance strategies + Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments + Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, i.e.: Six Sigma or Lean Protective Industrial Products (PIP) is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
