R&O Maintenance Manager

As a R & O Maintenance Manager here at Honeywell, you\nwill have the crucial role of overseeing and coordinating maintenance and\noperational activities within our organization's physical facilities. Your role\nis essential in ensuring the functionality, safety, and proper upkeep of these\nfacilities, which contributes to the overall efficiency and well-being of the\norganization. You will report directly to our Site Director, and you'll work\nout of our Shreveport, LA location on an on-site work schedule.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the day-to-day management\nof facility maintenance and operations. You will be accountable for ensuring\nthat our facilities are operating safely, effectively and efficiently,\nproviding a safe and comfortable environment for our employees and customers.\nYour expertise in maintenance and people management will not only enhance the\nsafety, productivity and efficiency of our operations but also contribute to\nthe overall success of the business. It is imperative that you not only\npractice safety but embody it here at the Shreveport location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Enforce and practice all of site safety protocolsDrive accountability across the work group maintaining operational discipline.Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans, prioritizing tasks to ensure that facilities remain well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and operationalParticipate in budget planning and help manage allocated funds for maintenance activities to achieve cost-effective solutions while maintaining high facility standardsMonitor the condition and functionality of facility assets, such as equipment and infrastructure, and coordinate repairs, replacements, or upgrades as neededEnsure that facilities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, managing necessary permits and certifications, and addressing any compliance issuesWork with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services, monitoring their work to ensure it meets established standards and is within budgetImplement energy-saving and sustainable practices to reduce operational costs and minimize the environmental footprint of facility operationsConduct regular inspections, quality assessments, and maintenance performance evaluations to maintain and improve facility standardsAssist in the development and execution of emergency response plans for facility-related incidents, including power outages, natural disasters, and other emergenciesWork with other departments, senior management, and stakeholders to comprehend their facility needs and provide updates on maintenance activities

YOU MUST HAVE

Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Maintenance ManagementStrong knowledge of building systems and equipmentProven leadership and management skillsExcellent communication and people-oriented skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projectsExperience with budget management
