R&M Technician

As an R&M (Repair & Maintenance) Technician at Weatherford, you'll perform hands-on maintenance and repair of field tools and equipment. You'll be responsible for the complete maintenance cycle - from receiving tools, dismantling, repairing, and refurbishing them according to technical specifications to prepare them for their next assignment.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Participate in daily safety meetings and promptly report any issues
+ Maintain equipment, facilities, and work areas in safe condition
+ Repair and maintain tools and equipment using precision measuring instruments and testing devices
+ Inspect parts using measuring tools to determine dimensional requirements
+ Follow maintenance procedures for tool handling: unloading, disassembly, cleaning, testing, painting, assembly, and storage
+ Complete all required documentation and work orders accurately
+ Operate lifting equipment, forklifts, and other machinery safely (certification required)
+ Process incoming and outgoing shipments with proper documentation
+ Support LEAN initiatives and continuous improvement programs
**Additional Duties for Senior Positions**
+ Lead maintenance teams and troubleshoot complex equipment issues
+ Implement corrective actions and ensure compliance with procedures
+ Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures
+ Schedule and distribute work assignments
+ Evaluate quality and efficiency of work being performed
**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma
+ 0-2 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry
+ Basic computer skills
+ Basic mathematics skills
+ Ability to work with hazardous materials safely
+ Good reading, writing, and problem-solving skills
+ Physical capability to perform required tasks
+ Time management and quality control skills
**Work Environment**
You'll work in a workshop environment handling tools and equipment, sometimes working with hazardous materials, radioactive elements, under strict safety protocols.
