Weatherford is hiring a hands-on Repair & Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Paradise, NL facility. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, forklift, and overhead crane experience. Responsibilities ·       Inspect, repair, and maintain Liner Hanger and other tools and equipment used in the field ·       Dismantle, troubleshoot, and refurbish equipment according to detailed work instructions ·       Operate forklifts and overhead cranes daily to safely move heavy parts and equipment ·       Use measuring tools and diagnostic instruments to ensure quality and precision ·       Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety procedures ·       Help train and guide less experienced technicians when needed Experience ·       2–5 years of hands-on experience in oil & gas equipment repair or industrial maintenance ·       Proven experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes in a warehouse or shop setting ·       Ability to read and follow technical manuals, repair instructions, and safety documents ·       Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills ·       Familiarity with basic computer tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) ·       Physically able to lift and move heavy tools and materials safely Preferred Skills ·       Prior experience with oil and gas tools and systems ·       Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail ·       Comfortable working with minimal supervision on more advanced tasks
