Job Overview:
The R&M Supervisor – Liner Systems is responsible for managing and overseeing all workshop operations related to liner systems and associated tools. This includes supervising personnel, ensuring all work meets Weatherford’s safety and quality standards, and supporting training and development efforts within the team. The role involves both operational duties and technical oversight, requiring hands-on expertise and leadership.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily workshop operations and ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards.
Supervise and mentor workshop personnel.
Assemble and maintain liner hanger systems, WBC, and associated downhole tools.
Coordinate equipment repairs and calibration schedules.
Maintain proper documentation and adherence to "My Advisor" maintenance system.
Conduct on-the-job training for junior technicians.
Approve completed jobs and pressure tests.
Participate in audits and continuous improvement efforts.
Perform emergency call-out duties and travel as needed.
Support development plans and competency frameworks.
Ensure accurate usage of measurement equipment and proper calibration record-keeping.
Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude and tool-handling skills
Supervisory and mentoring abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Familiar with JD Edwards, WPTS, RCA modeling
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Strong safety and quality mindset
Ability to follow procedures and technical work instructions
Competent in using forklift and overhead crane (certified)
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience R&M experience in Liner Systems
Competent in Level 1: Liner Hanger, Cementing Products, Inflatable Packer, Swellables
Competent in Level 2: Liner Hanger – Workshop
Bachelors in Engineering
Valid driver's license
Certified for forklift and overhead crane operation
Proficient in reading and writing English
