Job Description An established engineering company in San Diego is looking to hire an experienced Engineering Technician to assist in the lab. This person will be working on high-speed electronics with 100 megahertz plus in frequency. Their main responsibility will be to read the details of the schematics, assemble pieces, mount components onto a PCB, and put cables together. The work within this environment is a mix 50% production assemblies and 50% prototyping. Skills and Requirements - 3+ years of experience as an engineering technician with strong cable and components assembly skills - Proven ability to read engineering schematics for correct assembly interpretations - Strong attention to detail - Strong tools experience i.e. crimpers, strippers, multi-meters...etc - Associate degree in electronics is strongly preferred - Compliance testing experience pertaining to electronics compliance i.e. EMI/EMC - Knowledge of Visio (used for visual layout of the circuit) -high speed electronics assemblies experience (100+ megahertz speed ideal) null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
