We are looking for our new Specification Data Manager M/F/X.

 

Within the Continental Europe R&D Team, you will have the opportunity to provide support to R&D team in implementing a new Product Management Platform in appetizer.

 

In your role, you will participate in the project work stream for all activities related to data preparation data extraction, cleaning transformation validation and system testing, data reporting and training new users. You work closely with a cross functional team and provide support to R&D team on the current tools and processes maintenance until the implementation of the new platform is complete.

 

You will be part of the Research & Development team and report to the R&D Director Appetizers. Your main office will be in Rilland, Netherlands. Travels mainly in Europe and exceptionally in Canada, for customer visits or team meetings are required.

Key responsibilities:

 

Data work

You will data in load files (from word/excel/spec system source to excel)With rigor, you’ll check data within files (does the value/data contained in one cell matches de data contained in the source document)You will fill data related to enhancements/additional requirements (Good collaboration skills needed to find the missing data from other departments in the company)Once loaded in the system, you’ll check that the values from the cells within the excel file have been loaded in the right place in the system for the right specifications

System Testing

Based on the knowledge related to products/ingredients/packaging acquired during the data load work, you will take part in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to check the functionalities, the enhancements, the workflows,..

Data reporting

You will create of new reports to answer McCain needs based on existing McCain PLM reports and on any specific additional requirements.

Data entry

You will be in charge of maintenance of the current specification tool by doing some punctual data entry to support the R&D team during the transition phase.

 

Qualifications:

You have a first experience with product lifecycle management toolYou take high attention to detail and have good communication skillsYou are "Customer" focus and have good organizational skillsYou know to identify gaps and risks, escalate for resolutionYou are fluent in English and Dutch, French is a plus
