Responsibilities The Opportunity This role will assist the Ingredient Specification Management team located in the Mexico Capability Center (MCC) to ensure exceptional service is provided in support of R&D Spec Management globally (USA). This role will apply technical expertise and coordinate with in-market and MCC employees, as well as external resources when required, to develop clear and concise Ingredient specifications, maintain existing specs and supplier relationships, and manage tracking and uploading into relevant systems. Your Impact As R&D Specification Management Analyst your functions would consist of: Develop and maintain clear, accurate, and compliant ingredient specifications by collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers. Ensure specifications meet company standards (Ingredient, Supplier, Third Party, and Formula). Serve as the main point of contact with suppliers to gather required technical data, manage questionnaires, align on spec details, and follow up to keep the process on track. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product Development, Food Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Supplier Quality to ensure complete and accurate specifications. Request material testing and validate technical parameters when needed. Upload and maintain documentation and spec-related materials in the system (e.g., Product Vision), ensuring workflow progress and data accuracy. Monitor requests to meet SLA timelines, and escalate critical issues that may impact supply or production. Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose enhancements to R&D leadership. Qualifications Who Are We Looking For? Education • Bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Microbiology or related fields. Experience Minimum 6 months of experience in an R&D-related area (such as internships or professional practices). Familiarity with technical specifications, documentation, or ingredient development processes. Skills and Knowledge Advanced English (mandatory), as you will work closely with teams in the U.S. and other global regions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn technical platforms or systems. Basic understanding of Food Safety, Microbiology, or Regulatory Affairs. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to follow up on technical processes. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the flexibility to work across time zones and multicultural teams.
