This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Area for the Smart Buildings Division based in Hyderabad.
The ideal candidate plays a crucial role in ensuring cloud-based systems function reliably, securely, and efficiently.
You will be mainly accountable for:
The ideal candidate needs to work in tandem with our Product management, global R&D team and external firms on connected solutions in IoT, Microservices, Mobility, Cloud platforms and Edge devices in the ELSB SBED domain with scalability, security, multi-tenancy, service-oriented architecture – AWS/Azure/GoogleMust have a good understanding of: Device connection – device registration; connecting smart devices over MQTT and HTTPS protocols, with high availability and auto-scaling clusters.Device control and management - manage the life cycle of connected devices and standard instruction models for device controlHands-on Cloud development experience - understand fundamental services for smart solutions with experience in the strategy, design, development, and implementation of projects in the cloud, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS).Knowledge of Serverless Solutions - Implement AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and other serverless services or develop applications using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Event Grid.Cloud Migration - Assist in migrating legacy applications to AWS or Azure serverless infrastructure.Security & Compliance: Ensure cloud solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance standards. Familiarity with frontend frameworks, cyber security and secure coding practices will be an added advantage.Good Knowledge of Multithreading, SDLC, Agile practices & Iterative development processQualifications for the role :B. Tech/M. Tech in CSE/ECE/EE from reputed institutes with 8+ years of hands-on experience in the development of IoT/Digital Solutions and Industrial protocolsProficiency in programming languages like C#, Python, Node.js, or Java, and experience in SQL, PL/SQL for writing Database queries, stored procedures, trigger packages.Hands-on experience in AWS services like Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, and IAM, or Azure services like Functions, Cosmos DB, API Management, and Blob Storage.Good Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesExperience in the Electrical protection/controls Firmware domain preferred
