Je werkt in een omgeving waar innovatie, samenwerking en kwaliteit centraal staan. + Je vertaalt klantvereisten naar haalbare ontwerpvoorstellen, met oog voor kwaliteit, kostenefficiëntie en maakbaarheid. + Je maakt 3D-modellen en technische tekeningen van onderdelen en samenstellingen (CAD). + Je ondersteunt bij het bouwen en testen van prototypes om aspecten van het ontwerp te valideren. + Je helpt mee bij het opstellen en opvolgen van testprogramma’s om je ontwerp te verifiëren en kwalificeren. + Je leert risico’s inschatten in het ontwerpproces via methodieken zoals DFMEA en tolerantieberekeningen – uiteraard met ondersteuning van ervaren collega's. + Je leert hoe je meetrapporten beoordeelt en vergelijkt met de eisen van de klant – en krijgt de kans om hierover in overleg te gaan met collega’s of de klant zelf. + Je stemt regelmatig af met andere afdelingen (zoals kwaliteit, aankoop en produktie) om tot een goed geïntegreerd product te komen. + Je blijft op de hoogte van technologische evoluties binnen je vakgebied en draagt bij aan innovatie binnen het team. **Your ideal background:** + Je bent Master of Bachelor in de elektromechanica of productontwikkeling met sterke technische affiniteit of burgerlijk of industrieel ingenieur elektrotechniek of elektromechanica. + Je hebt sterke communicatieve vaardigheden, en bent een innovatieve teamspeler maar kunt ook zelfstandig werken + Je spreekt en schrijft vlot in het Engels. Kennis Duits is een pluspunt. + Je hebt kennis van productieprocessen en materiaalkeuze. + Je hebt ervaring met mechanisch ontwerp en tekenpakketten (ervaring met Creo is een pluspunt. + Je beschikt nog niet of alle technische vaardigheden, maar je hebt wel de juiste leermentalitiet.
