By shaping treatments that reflect the authentic needs and experiences of patients and caregivers, your work will drive meaningful change in brain health. You will lead patient engagement initiatives for one or more pipeline assets, focusing on two key objectives: advancing patient-focused drug development and fostering awareness of Lundbeck’s clinical research within patient and caregiver communities. This involves safeguarding best practices for engagement, ensuring interactions with patient communities are seamless, transparent, and built on trust. You will also generate critical insights during the early stages of projects, laying the foundation for robust patient experience data as part of integrated evidence plans as the asset progresses. Through your expertise, you will translate the patient voice into actionable development strategies, combining scientific acumen with project management skills. Working closely with our cross-functional counterparts we lead Lundbeck’s patient engagement efforts for R&D activities and build patient experience data into asset strategies to make the patient voice actionable and impactful. As a Specialist in the Patient Insights Team, you will find yourself in a dynamic environment with ample potential to influence your work. As a team, we work closely together, and all your direct colleagues are established specialists with extensive experience and multidisciplinary skills. At the same time, you will interact with colleagues from a range of other functions as part of your daily activities - providing excellent opportunities to learn and develop your skills and experience across the medicine’s development value chain. The position is based in Valby, Denmark. **What you bring to the team** Our preferred candidate has the following personal and professional qualifications: • A relevant master’s degree or PhD that has a strong interface with patient centricity in life sciences, such as Public Health, Sociology, Psychology, Healthcare Innovation or Medical Sciences • A minimum of 5 years professional experience working with patient centricity in a setting linked to medicines development or healthcare systems, with knowledge of multistakeholder collaborative frameworks • Track record of working with legal and compliance aspects of patient engagement, including knowledge of codes from major regions • Dedicated team-player motivated by working in collaboration – but who can also be a proactive self-starter • Strong analytical skills and with flair for accessible and impactful communication • Proficient in spoken and written English – with further languages an advantage • High level of energy, excellent stakeholder interaction skills and a talent for structure **Our promise to you** Lundbeck offers an inspiring workplace and innovative culture, where our curiosity, accountability and adaptability enable us to transform lives.
