You will also have access to our R&D Academy, designed to develop our team and allow you to grow in our great organisation. **About the role** You’ll work closely with all R&D functions around the globe as well as supply, procurement, regional/category marketing/commercial teams and external partners on innovation and maintenance of laundry detergent categories. The team deliver projects to drive business results that outperform the market and maintain or achieve brand leadership within the category while maximising profitability. This is a role which focuses on developing in-depth technical knowledge, project leadership, team development and communication skills. **Your responsibilities** + Successfully lead and manage a Team Interfaces at a project / technology / method and data interpretation level on a regular basis with R&D Matrix organisation, Supply, Procurement, Quality, Category/Commercial, External – Suppliers, Technology partners + Accountable for delivering projects / method and data interpretation and strategies to agreed targets within assigned portfolio / scope of responsibility and in accordance with agreed innovation pipeline, budget, resources and timing + Management, supervision and development of assigned team members (direct and indirect reports) + Technical development of themselves and their team members, sharing of this knowledge with partners to maximise the business benefit for Reckitt + Interaction with other R&D Managers to develop and share best practice + Stimulates a work environment that promotes intellectual curiosity with commitment to the highest quality standards and an intense drive for achievement to outperform + Ensures that facilities and processes operate efficiently with a prioritization on Health, Safety and compliance to legal and our policies. **The experience we're looking for** + BS/BA/MS degree, ideally in a related science or engineering + Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with product development within a FMCG environment, with a proven track record of delivery + Strong multi-cultural leadership, influencing, motivational and interpersonal skills + Strong end-to-end technical depth in FMCGs from innovation to industrialisation, combined with a strong business drive.
