Join us in our fight to make access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment a right and not a privilege. **About the role** In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination and completion of new and existing product development projects in the cleaners categories, from feasibility phase until launch in the market. You will be working with multi-functional project teams to ensure project is delivered on time and within scope. You will be responsible for building and managing project timelines, estimating and managing budget and resources, managing risks, monitoring progress and communicating status to upper managemen **Your responsibilities:** + Manage the development of key projects to deliver consumer preferred products in Essential Home Cleaners categories from ideation until launch in the market(s) + Coordinate activities and objectives with Marketing and R&D to advance assigned initiatives through the product development process to achieve desired cost targets and business results. + Act as an exemplar of current best approach on project management / planning, including creation and management of key project management documentation through appropriate use of PPM tools and systems (Project Briefs, Project Plans, Gantt Charts, Success Criteria, Risk Assessments, Budget, Resourcing, etc), in line with the operating model and PPM Charter. + Identify and manage project dependencies and critical project paths; manage risk analysis and contingency planning on all assigned projects. + Manage cross functional project activity across several functions including internal/ external resources and lead cross-functional teams serving as the gate holder of all project timelines; track project plans and milestones. + Ensure all parties involved in delivering project are held accountable for completion of actions on time and to required standards and resolve any arising issues (with support as required) + Establish, communicate and continually manage project expectations and progress with team members and key project stakeholders via meetings, presentations and monthly status reports. + Ensure proactive timely escalation of key projects and issues to appropriate stakeholders. + Ensure budgets and cross-functional resources are identified, allocated and managed per project requirements + Lead cross-functional alignment meetings to address specific project challenges/issues + Prepare and present project status and risks to upper management + Apply influence to better align other functions to agreement of overall business objectives. + Resolve conflicts and build strong working relationships within the project teams. + Use appropriate delegation/ influencing techniques as a vehicle to deliver project actions. + Lead project updates together with GBMMs (Global Brand Marketing Managers) towards key stakeholder forum updates, including flags for project changes (changes to scope, risks, resourcing, schedule) and Stage Gates **The skills for success:** + Strong end-to-end technical depth in FMCGs from innovation to industrialisation, combined with a strong business drive. Experience in laundry products is a plus + Ability to work well under pressure / identify and communicate risks + Capable of building strong working relationships and strong networking skills + Strong negotiating & analytical skills + Ability to anticipate, plan and realize significant projects / activities involving multiple technical and scientific hurdles + Ability to identify consumer unmet needs, understand motivations and behaviours by effective input into the selection and implementation of consumer research methods + Ability to select appropriate scale-up strategies, equipment and process parameters + Understanding of and ability to apply quality, sustainability and regulatory standards + Ability to manage, control and optimize budgets for teams and projects **Experience we are looking for:** + BS/BA/MS degree, ideally in a related science or engineering. + Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with product development within a FMCG environment, with a proven track record of delivery. + Intense drive for achievement and a desire to outperform wherever they focus + The ability to overcome obstacles by getting support from others and excellent problem-solving skills + A desire to understand the consumer to deliver new and meaningful product benefits + Open minded, a creative and lateral thinker + Result-oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating but willing to work and contribute as a member of a team + Willingness to travel internationally **What we offer** With inclusion at the heart of everything we do, working alongside our four global Employee Resource Groups, we support our people at every step of their career journey, helping them to succeed in their own individual way.
