The role is part of a high performing team centered on Finance transformation and becoming a best-in-class Finance organization.
As a trainee, you will support your local finance operations team in various responsibilities to help ensure the completeness and accuracy of the financials to meet targets and drive results.

Main responsibilities:

Support the month-end and quarter-end closing activities: prepare accruals and journal entries to be posted in SAP and manage and correct master data in financial systems (SAP and TM1)Prepare analysisSupport the financial reporting process, providing results directly to Controllers for monthly commentaryAnalyze results, including trends, in order to extract potential risks and opportunities to
present to management for reviewProvide commitments tracking to help FBPs and Controllers understand year-to-date and
year-to-go actuals as well as support monthly commentary for variance analysis betweenSupport Business Partners to analyze spend activities and prepare monthly accruals vs
forecast as needed.Ensure compliance with all Sox & internal control processes and participate in monthly controlling checklist activitiesUtilize continuous improvement in daily activities to identify process simplification
opportunities and enhance tools improvementsAd hoc projects as required

About you

Experience:

Ongoing studies in BSc or MSc at the fields of Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a similarMin. 20-40-hour availability/week

Soft and technical skills:

Good MS office skillsExcel or PowerBI knowledge requiredProblem solving orientedPro-active attitudeAble to present challenges on a constructive wayGeneral interest in working with data and systems

Languages:  Fluent in English mandatory (written and spoken)
