R&D Team Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB’s success with technology, software, product, and system development. Each day, you will identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation business Robotics division in Bangalore, India.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tCoding in C++ (2017 or higher) and unit testing it within agreed schedule and quality •\tIdentify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems•\tDefect fixing & maintenance •\tDocumentation inputs•\tWork with rest of the teams in SAFe agile teams and make releases•\tHelp maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelor’s / master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent\tShould have 2-5 years of experience, developing applications using C++ in Windows environment\tThorough knowledge of the standard library, STL containers, and algorithms\tFamiliarity with embedded systems and low-level hardware interactions\tExperience with Azure Devops, Github, Unit testing skills [GTest]\tExperience in RESTful API development and Experience with debugging especially performance issues. \tDeveloping OPC UA protocols and porting open source.\tDocumenting designs, Architectural awareness.
