R&D Engineer II
**Duration: 11 Months Contract (Possible Extension);** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to join our team in developing innovative embolic coil designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage and collaborate with various stakeholders effectively. Position is developing technology for a future phase in a larger project - Key Responsibilities: + Lead the design and development of embolic coils, ensuring high standards of quality and performance. + Utilize mechanical design principles to create and optimize embolic coil designs, balancing conflicting requirements + Creating a plan for development of product design, including cascading or dependent experiments. + Communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively to a broad audience, including non-technical stakeholders. + Conduct testing and validation of embolic coil designs to meet regulatory and clinical requirements. + Stay updated with the latest advancements in embolic coil technology and incorporate best practices into the design process. + Interface with Physicians/Cath Lab personnel to obtain feedback on concepts and performance of new devices. + May train and/or provide work direction to technicians and entry-level engineers.
