Currently we are looking for a R&D Senior Engineer for System Drives experienced in Matlab/Simulink to help us maintaining #1 position as global drives player. As a member of Research and Development (R&D) team based in Krakow you will be responsible for design, implementation and validation of control systems for special applications within ABB Motion High Power division.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Control software development for Power Electronics based applicationsHardware in the Loop simulations of power electronics convertersPreparation of software packages and technical documentationAnalysis of field cases and finding solutionsCooperation with different local and global engineering teams

Qualifications for the role:

PhD or MSc degree in field of Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics and Control Engineering, Automatics and Robotics or related fieldUnderstanding of electrical circuits, converters and control theoryExperience in Matlab/Simulink (Model Based Programming)Knowledge of Hardware-in-the-Loop testingExperience in Python or C++ is nice to haveOver 5 years of experience in R&DGood written and spoken English
