Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and test new advanced processing technologies, including equipment and tool design Manage cable development projects Analyze process data and statistics to improve processing capabilities Harmonize and optimize cable manufacturing processes to ensure easy and quick transfers between locations and production lines Communicate and document results in technical reports and presentations Monitor new trends in cable production technologies Collaborate closely with other development departments within the global organization Drive high innovation intensity (filed patents, published papers, presentations, etc.) ​​​​​​​REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field 3 years of experience in a development/engineering department Proficiency in English and Polish Strong technical understanding of mechanical engineering Knowledge of statistics Familiarity with fiber optic cable constructions and materials (preferred but not required) Excellent communication and global teamwork skills Experience in project management Willingness to work at different locations (up to 25% travel) Experience in plastic processing (nice to have)
