Corning’s Environmental Technologies segment manufactures ceramic substrates and filter products for emissions control in mobile and stationary applications around the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and test new advanced processing technologies, including equipment and tool design Manage cable development projects Analyze process data and statistics to improve processing capabilities Harmonize and optimize cable manufacturing processes to ensure easy and quick transfers between locations and production lines Communicate and document results in technical reports and presentations Monitor new trends in cable production technologies Collaborate closely with other development departments within the global organization Drive high innovation intensity (filed patents, published papers, presentations, etc.) ​​​​​​​REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field 3 years of experience in a development/engineering department Proficiency in English and Polish Strong technical understanding of mechanical engineering Knowledge of statistics Familiarity with fiber optic cable constructions and materials (preferred but not required) Excellent communication and global teamwork skills Experience in project management Willingness to work at different locations (up to 25% travel) Experience in plastic processing (nice to hav
