 Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB’s success with technology, software, product, and system development. Each day, you will identify and implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas and by being able to work both independently and as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team.

This role is contributing to Motion Drive Product business division based in Peenya, Bangalore, India

You will be mainly responsible for:

Technical product ownership on product with respect to quality and issue resolution in Low Voltage Drives in India.Full technical ownership of product. Understand the variable frequency drive.  Should take ownership of the product with respect to all technical issue.Should coordinate with product manager for any known issue and plan for the action to resolve the same.The analysis should be done up to the level of circuit component.Work involves direct coordination with global support team for any further analysis. PCB analysis using the schematic and PCBRoot cause analysis needs to be created for every failure and update the same in the global failure data.VFD function understanding, Application understanding of customer, Reason for the failure / trip in the siteStudy of component for the failure reason, Detailed analysis of component inhouse and with external LabCreate a root cause analysis of failure, Discussion with global counter part for better understandingQualifications for the roleQualification : BE – Electrical and Electronics or EEE , M-tech – Power electronics or  Control system or DrivesSkill Set : PCB analysis , Variable frequency drive KnowledgeYear of experience :  5-10 years for BE , 3-5 years with M-TechTechnical product ownership on product with respect to quality and issue resolution in Low Voltage Drives in India
