This Position reports to:

Your Role and Responsibility:

Our key focus in Bangalore R&D is development of Embedded platforms, building common Cyber security architecture for digital solutions from edge to cloud which includes Development of Cyber Security for EDGE computing devices, Secure communication, Authentication and Authorization support, Licensing & Certification handling etc. Also performing cybersecurity robustness evaluation of products and applications across the EL business.

The work model for the role is Hybrid #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Electrification(EL) Distributed Solutions based out in Bangalore.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Assessing security and network robustness testing of embedded devices and host based industrial software and conducting Penetration testing on Cloud/Web applications and API’s.

• Writing automation scripts with shell scripting and python and threat analysis of the devices from security point of view

• In-depth analysis of results and writing technical reports and providing suggestions/fixes for improvement to device/software development teams.

• Evaluation of new testing methodologies relevant for the organization

Testing wireless interfaces for security and exploiting security flaws and vulnerabilities with attack simulations on Android, iOS and windows applications.

Qualifications for the role:

• Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science or Networking with 2  or 3  years of relevant experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.

• In depth knowledge of TCP/IP networking and application protocols concepts (knowledge of industrial control communication protocols is an added advantage).

• Sound knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities (web & mobile), software exploitation and common vulnerabilities.

• Good understanding of port scanning, vulnerability assessment and fuzzing tools.

• Adequate knowledge of web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services/API and Service Oriented Architectures) and web related protocols.

Knowledge of tools like Nessus, Burp Suite, Black Duck,  Wireshark & experience with penetration testing OS like Kali Linux.

• Proficient with one of the scripting languages such as shell or python, certifications such as OSCP, CEH etc. or bug hunting experience is a plus
