Responsibilities The key objective for this position is to ensure the timely delivery of Flavour and Seasoning R&D projects from an End to End stand point driving excellence across innovation, renovation and TBS/BCP projects. Working on a range of projects from the AOP Calendar to supporting Pep+ and Sector projects across Europe. Plan, organise, execute and communicate assigned research and development projects (Calendar Delivery and Innovation Platforms). Managing TSG governance, SAP and execution. The role involves managing the end to end the delivery of Europe AOP across a wide project portfolio related to the Europe snack food brands with significant turnover Support to leads of Pep+ & Sector programs to deliver PepsiCo's long term goals. The role involves independently project managing for NPD, renovation, productivity, BCP projects with escalating issues as required Ensure documentation/execution activities are progressing in line with business priorities and facilitate removal of road blocks as required Identify & develop product /technical flavour and seasoning solutions for projects. Manage the project documentation from raw material suppliers (incl. seasoning houses, artwork, process) & 3rd parties to execute programmes PepsiCo Scope, align & deliver portfolio of required documents ( PERMS, ZBR, SWL, etc) through individual contribution & delivery through others Apply & ensure the team comply with regulatory & legal requirements through collaboration with regulatory teams Work effectively & in collaboration with cross-functional & R&D discipline partners Plan, organise and supervise/delegate pilot/plant trials within our own factories and co-manufacturers Considerable interaction with project team members from level 2 up to Directors across multiple functions and disciplines The role works alongside peers from other functions (e.g. marketing, operations, finance). Project team members might range from level 3 to Band 2 Qualifications Graduate in a Food Science or related discipline or equivalent Minimum of 1-2 years’ previous experience in FMCG R&D, product or technology development roles Passion for creativity and innovation within a commercially driven environment Strives for high standards, seeks innovative solutions, drives continuous improvement of products and processes and demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail Deep understanding of Food Science, Food Engineering and Manufacturing In-depth analytical skills to interpret complex data and distil into meaningful information e.g. interpreting consumer insights, experimental design and statistical inference Strong project management skills to effectively drive a complex project portfolio across different markets Strong presentation skills (written & verbal)
