Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Passive Fire
Location: Orpington, UK
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum

Role Purpose: Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to join a growing company in the passive fire protection sector? We are seeking a commercially astute and motivated individual to manage and control all financial and technical aspects of projects helping to minimise costs and maximise value across our operations.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
Full commercial control from inception to final accountMeasurement, pricing, and evaluation of tendersCVR reporting and forecastingManaging subcontractor accounts and paymentsIdentifying areas for margin improvementSupporting invoicing and payment processesEnsuring Health & Safety complianceBuilding and maintaining supplier and subcontractor relationships
What We’re Looking For:Relevant qualification (HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent)Experience in passive fire protection preferred but not essentialStrong commercial acumen with a solid background in procurement and cost managementExperience working with bills of quantities, schedules of rates, and design & build contractsProficiency in Excel and other commercial toolsA proactive, team-oriented approach with strong communication and time management skills
