We are looking for Quantity Surveyor for one of our leading clients in Energy sector in Gujarat for the contractual roles.

Position: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Jamnagar, Gujarat.
Job Type: Contract

Job Description: Perform quantity surveying activities associated with the tendering in all forms of contracts.
  Coordinate & provide quantity surveying estimates to functions to provide high-quality estimates in a timely manner. The person shall be fully capable of reading and understanding the engineering drawings and documents at all stages. Person shall be required to act with minimum guidance on smaller projects engaging in direct contact with other functional areas, including Clients, field contractors, vendors and assist in the development of construction budgets. Take quantity/ material takeoffs per the contract unit price methods of measurement Price each drawing using the unit prices in the contract commercial terms. Compile the total quantities against the original contract line items. Understand the entire level of effort expected of the contractors and document them.
  Educational Qualifications: Accredited Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil engineering or equivalent with
10+ years of Quantity Surveying/estimating experience in a Consulting / Engineering (EPC environment) pertaining to Hydrocarbon / Petro-chemical / Oil & Gas sectors.
(Civil Engineering degree is preferred) Other Job Requirements Shall have good oral, analytical and written communication skills.
