As a Quant Modeling Senior Associate within the AWM MIS organization, you will be responsible for implementing various financial forecasting models, developing modernized Planning and Analysis (P&A) processes/tools, and creating AI applications to support the organization's needs. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and gain high visibility by directly supporting exercises such as CCAR, CECL, Budget Planning and business-as-usual forecasting.
**Job responsibilities:**
+ Implement statistical financial forecasting models to support business needs, including stress testing and business-as-usual exercises.
+ Transform and modernize existing Forecasting, Planning and Analysis processes using Python and other relevant technologies, such as DataBricks, AWS.
+ Develop Machine Learning and AI solutions aiming to lift efficiency of the broader team.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into automated solutions.
**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:**
+ 3+ years of experience in analytical roles; at least one year of experience in developing or implementing forecasting models.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details.
+ Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:**
+ Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
+ Full-stack experience of developing applications from backend to frontend.
+ Hands-on skills of using React, Next.js, Github, Jira.
+ Direct work experience with machine learning model development. Experience with developing customized AI applications, such as prompt engineering, Langchain.
