As a Distribution Strategy Director on the Branch Distribution Analytics Team, you’ll lead a team of data analytics professionals advancing an analytic framework to drive Chase’s branch and ATM location strategy. You’ll leverage your experience in strategy and analytics and your platform to drive key investments in our distribution network. Your broad exposure to leaders within the Consumer Bank including Real Estate, Finance, Data and Analytics, and Corporate Strategy will require you to provide executive consultation and influence across the organization.

Job responsibilities 

Manage Branch and ATM network strategy, including market planning, branch optimization (new builds, consolidations, relocations, re-developments), and competitive analysis.Analyze and report on competitive retail deposit share trends to inform strategic decision-making.Track customer behavior and monitor branch engagement to enhance customer experience and optimize branch operations.Create compelling presentations and data visualizations to influence senior executives.Maintain expertise in analytic techniques for financial services, demography, and retail network planning; coach junior data scientists and solve complex problems.Prioritize and execute high-impact initiatives, organizing resources for maximum business value.Collaborate with business clients to identify projects, influence decisions with data, and ensure satisfaction.Conduct complex analyses when needed.Develop scalable analytic capabilities to unlock value and manage key business levers.Lead local data strategy initiatives, including sourcing new data, adopting new tools, and integrating into analytic platforms.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

10+ years’ of industry experience in business analytics or quantitative business roles 3+ years of experience managing strategy, finance, analytics, or data science teamsBS degree in an analytical field such as Statistics, Economics, Applied Math, Operations Research, Physics, or Data ScienceExperience leading complex projects across multiple workstreams with varying timelines, and prioritiesDirect team leadership and development experienceAbility to provide coaching for a range of modern data science, analytics, and reporting tools (e.g., Python, R, Hadoop, Spark, Alteryx, ESRI, SAS, SQL) Proficient navigating complex, matrixed organizations while supporting multiple stakeholdersAble to convey complex information in an understandable, compelling, and persuasive manner to senior executives and non-technical audiences

Prior financial services, management consulting, or corporate strategy experience preferredMS Degree in an applicable field or MBA
