What You Will Do

As a Quality Technician Team Lead, you will supervise a team of inspectors supporting aero-engine component inspections for a major aerospace customer. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring efficient operations, and coaching team members to success.

You will:
    •    Lead and mentor a team of Quality Technicians performing dimensional and visual inspections of aerospace components.
    •    Support daily operations by assigning tasks, resolving issues, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
    •    Implement and monitor inspection standards and processes to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry regulations.
    •    Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and customers to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
    •    Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results and team performance metrics.
    •    Train new hires and promote a culture of quality, accountability, and safety.



Work Experience

What You Will Bring

We’re looking for a collaborative, detail-oriented leader with the following qualifications:
    •    3+ years of experience in aerospace quality inspection or a related manufacturing environment.
    •    Proven leadership or mentorship experience within a quality or technical team.
    •    Hands-on experience using one or more of the following inspection tools:
    •    Keyence XM-5000
    •    Keyence VL and VR Series
    •    ZEISS Scanbox
    •    Blue Light 3D Scanner
    •    Fusion 600 Scanner
    •    CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
    •    Strong communication and organizational skills.
    •    Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
    •    Working knowledge of AS9102 and general aerospace quality standards.

Preferred but not required:
    •    Associate degree, trade school certification, or equivalent hands-on experience.
    •    Experience with digital inspection reporting or model-based inspection processes.



Pay Range: $65,000 – $70,000 (Salaried)

Work Requirements:

This is an on-site position based in Irving, TX.
    •    You must be able to commute to the facility and maintain a consistent presence during standard working hours.
    •    Work will be performed in a shop floor environment and may require standing for long periods, extensive walking, and lifting up to 40 lbs.



Citizenship Requirement:

Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required.
