Quality Technician (Rotating 12 hours C-Shift Days)

How will you make an impact?

As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring that products meet customer and regulatory standards. Working under close supervision, you will support quality assurance efforts by performing inspections, audits, and data analysis, while maintaining compliance with established procedures and specifications.

What will you do?Ensure inspection techniques, policies, and quality plans conform to established standards.Perform qualitative and quantitative tests on raw materials, packaging, and finished products.Support maintenance and certification of testing instruments and apparatus.Monitor inspector performance and implement corrective actions as needed.Ensure gauges are calibrated, properly used, stored, and repaired when necessary.Train new inspectors on procedures, inspection techniques, and gauge usage.Review and maintain integrity of Statistical Process Control (SPC) data; correct input errors and retrain inspectors as needed.Collaborate with QA Supervisor or Manager to update control limits and create new SPC files.Prepare graphs and charts for data analysis.Conduct product and process audits.Review production records for procedural compliance.Participate in production start-ups and mold qualification/validation processes.Troubleshoot recurring defects and recommend corrective actions.Maintain accurate quality records, logs, and reports.Ensure documentation complies with customer specifications and industry standards.Maintain and review batch history records (BHR); complete lot history closeout and batch release forms.Coordinate with shipping to finalize Certificates of Compliance/Analysis.Support company safety and quality initiatives.Review SPC data in Predisys and generate reports as needed.Perform other duties as assigned based on departmental needs.How will you get here?Education:Bachelor’s degree preferred.Training or certification in ISO 9001 standards is a plus.Experience:2–3 years of experience in a quality-related role.Experience with SPC systems and inspection processes.Or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and inspection techniques.Familiarity with ISO 9001 and regulatory compliance.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email tools.Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Ability to train and mentor team members.Experience with SPC systems such as Predisys is a plus.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.Knowledge of quality documentation and audit processes.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Demonstrated ability to support continuous improvement initiatives.
