Quality Technician - Level III
**DESCRIPTION** Supports engineers in carrying out production-related and inspection jobs; assists in monitoring materials quality in processing plants and making the required adjustments; ensures maintenance of documentation and records. Works under minimal supervision. **Key Responsibilities:** **Customer Support:** + Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all CCS Fuel System PCP-1 Plant-based customers regarding BIS & AIS issue communication. + Understand the voice of the customer. + Witness failures and support in obtaining the required data/reports from customers. + Lead and manage BIS support for customers, including understanding BIS claims and containment activities. + Coordinate with customers and cross-functional teams (CFT) to retrieve failed parts for analysis with all required documentation. + Review plant analysis reports with customer SPOC. + Track emerging customer issues daily to maintain control and prevent escalations. + Publish weekly BIS reports every Monday and monthly reports on or before the 10th of each month. + Maintain and track MNC & SCAR initiated by customers. + Drive technical analysis of failed parts with CCS CFT to ensure timely resolutions. + Review plant and supplier processes to ensure effective step 3/6 implementation. + Meet customer SCAR closure times of 30/60 days for step 6 closure. + Develop, maintain, and release the CQ Matrix and Scorecard for CCS Fuel System monthly. + Release monthly reports to customers. + Establish customer connections through frequent visits and structured communications. + Support customer engagement initiatives to address customer and quality issues. + Coordinate with customers for seeding and tracking of build & ESN details concerning VPCR changes. + Participate in AQS audits at customer sites. + Lead CSR implementation for any changes in the supplier handbook in the plant and track it with CFT. + Lead IATF internal and external audits considering CQ scope. + Gather customer feedback through online VOC surveys and develop improvement plans based on inputs. **Key Deliverables:** + On-time step 3/6 response for customer issues. + On-time MNC & SCAR disposition. + Customer & supplier engagement for BIS & AIS issues. + Publish weekly BIS reports every Monday and monthly reports on or before the 10th of each month. + On-time response to customers for BIS & AIS issues. + Proactive customer & supplier engagement initiatives to address quality issues. + Agreed and monitored KPIs. + Monthly MIS and BIS PPM reporting to the plant. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **Education, Licenses, Certifications:** + High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. + This position may require licensing for + **Quality Process Management:** Proficient application of quality tools and methods (e.g., APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, Capability studies, Process Audit, inspection, test, etc.) to ensure the quality of resources while managing the business aspects of a laboratory using measures to control both the technical and business aspects of the organization and assuring the requirements of the appropriate certifications and/or accreditations are met. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Required Skills & Qualifications:** **Experience:** + Proven experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in quality assurance, technical support, or field service within the automotive or manufacturing industry (fuel systems experience highly desirable). **Technical Acumen:** + Ability to understand technical issues, witness failures, and gather relevant data/reports from customers. **Problem-Solving:** + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with familiarity in quality tools (e.g., 8D, 5Why, Fishbone). **Communication:** + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with customers at various levels and internal cross-functional teams. **Coordination:** + Proven ability to coordinate complex activities involving multiple stakeholders (customers, suppliers, internal teams). **Data Analysis & Reporting:** + Proficient in data collection, analysis, and report generation (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint). **Proactive Approach:** + Demonstrated ability to identify potential issues and implement proactive measures. **Customer Focus:** + A deep understanding of customer needs and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. **Experience:** + Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or
