Quality Technician III
**Position:** Senior Quality Technician – Manufacturing Excellence **Location:** Onsite – Monday to Friday **Employment Type:** Full-time **Salary** : $49920.00-$54080.00 **Compensation & Benefits:** Competitive pay, comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, vision), life insurance, disability coverage, generous PTO/holidays, 401(k) with company match, performance bonus eligibility, education assistance, safety gear reimbursement, and employee referral incentives. **About the Role** We’re looking for a highly skilled Quality Technician to champion quality assurance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position blends technical inspection expertise with problem-solving and process improvement, ensuring that every product leaving our facility meets the highest standards of accuracy and customer satisfaction. **Key Duties & Responsibilities** + Review and approve product for shipment by validating documentation and certifications against customer specifications. + Apply and interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) concepts in day-to-day inspections. + Conduct detailed dimensional checks on first articles and PPAP submissions. + Assist production teams by creating and interpreting work instructions, as well as training on proper measurement tools and techniques. + Perform inspections on incoming materials and manufactured parts per established procedures. + Track, analyze, and share quality metrics to drive improvement initiatives. + Program and operate advanced measurement systems such as FARO and Micro-Vu. + Organize QA lab priorities and actively participate in departmental planning sessions. + Conduct internal quality audits covering dimensions, workmanship, and documentation. + Create and maintain calibration procedures to align with ISO requirements. + Investigate nonconformances, customer concerns, and process failures to determine root cause and corrective actions. + Provide mentorship and training to QA team members and inspectors. + Lead or participate in structured Quality Walks on the production floor. + Recommend and implement continuous improvement strategies across operations. + Deliver technical training programs to enhance QA staff capabilities. **Qualifications & Skills** + 5+ years of hands-on quality inspection experience, ideally in a metal fabrication or precision manufacturing setting with a focus on continuous improvement. + Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and documentation, presenting findings clearly, and communicating effectively in team and individual settings. + Strong math skills, including fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios, and basic algebra. + Comfortable with MS Office applications, spreadsheets, and online research. + FARO and Micro-Vu programming experience strongly preferred. + Certified Quality Technician credential is a plus. + Associate degree in a relevant technical field preferred.
