The Quality Technician will support the Quality Manager in a cylinder manufacturing company by ensuring all products meet specified standards. This role requires a proactive individual who can immediately contribute to maintaining and improving quality processes.
ResponsibilitiesMonitor production processes to ensure dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and material integrity meet specified standards.Conduct inspections and analyze defects.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.Essential SkillsProficiency in using calipers and blueprint reading.Experience in quality assurance.Knowledge and experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).Minimum 5 years of quality experience in the metal industry.Minimum 3 years of experience handling paperwork, including PPAPs.Minimum 5 years of experience working with gauges and calipers.Work Environment
The position involves working in a hands-on environment with a split shift schedule, covering 1st and 2nd shifts. The work hours are from 8:30 AM to 6 PM, Tuesday through Saturday, with the possibility of working on Monday if not scheduled for Saturday.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
