Eaton’s Power Components Division is currently seeking a Quality Technician. The position will be based at our facility in Beaver, PA.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year.

What you’ll do:
The Quality Technician is responsible for improving and assuring quality in all products and various services of the facility through driving the day-to-day quality system activities and deployment of ELS. In this role, you will provide ongoing daily support to the manufacturing floor and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for plant quality issues, including 8D problem-solving.Drive operational and product quality improvements in collaboration with plant leadership.Manage customer quality concerns, returns, and credit decisions to maintain strong relationships.Support new product launches with quality planning and process optimization.Conduct and report PPAP and PFMEA activities; provide statistical reporting.Maintain ISO certification documentation and lead internal audits and training.Oversee lab equipment calibration and maintenance; serve as lab technician backup.Assist with special quality projects and support the Quality Manager.Monitor customer portals and lead compliance audits to ensure EQS standards are met.Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• High school diploma/GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in quality and/or manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Three (3) years of experience in quality in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with international quality standards, lean manufacturing, statistical methods, blueprint reading and continuous improvement tools such as FMEA, DOE
• ASQ certifications
• Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification
• ERP systems experience: AS400, Minitab, SPC tools
