Role Definition:
Performs advanced inspection and audits to track, analyze, and report on materials, processes, and products to ensure conformance to company's quality standards. The position is mainly for supplier quality of electronic and electrical components and mechanical parts including supplier quality ICA/ECA quick response for manufacturing, driving RCCA progress, PDI improvement, supplier audit, etc.

Main Duties:
1. Journey toward defect free and reduce all defects to meet the quality target. Drive defect free quality culture and deliver supplier quality performance. 
Refine and implement BIQ to demonstrate the stop capability:
•    Improve supplier stop capability through supplier PDI execution.
•    Improve supplier audit effectiveness.
•    Supplier Quality Alert RCCA effectiveness.
•    E&E supplier stability improvement.
•    Change management: PCN/ECN Validation and execution.
2. Continual performance on agility and customer-focus to ensure the products supply. 
Work with relative teams to expedite supplier quality problem solving to avoid hard line down impact due to supplier quality issues.
3. Collaborate with extended team to improve competitive product cost structure. Feedback NCM to suppliers timely and clearly, as well as update latest results with relative team timely. cases analysis and take corrective action to reduce repeated rework cost.
4. Expanded offering and support sustainable growth by supporting NPI introduction quality before mass production.

Requirements: 
1.    Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical and electrical engineering or related majors.
2.    Good human relations skills are required to develop a cooperative working relationship with others inside and outside of Caterpillar.
3.    Solid ability to use and demonstrate statistical and problem solving tools is required.
4.    Proficient in English reading and writing. Fluent in oral English is preferred. 

Additional Information:
The position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
