Quality Technician
Job Title: Quality TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a Quality Technician to perform quality checks on medical-grade plastics, rubbers, silicones, and similar materials. The role involves documenting all quality checks, quality data, and product information. The technician will work closely with production personnel to ensure quality standards are met and will ensure clean rooms are maintained, sterile practices are adhered to, and products are made in compliance with FDA regulations. Responsibilities + Perform quality checks on medical-grade materials such as plastics, rubbers, and silicones. + Document all quality checks, quality data, and product information. + Collaborate with production personnel to ensure quality standards are met. + Maintain clean rooms and adhere to sterile practices. + Ensure products are manufactured following FDA regulations. Essential Skills + Experience in quality control, particularly in medical device products. + Proficiency in performing visual inspections and measurements. + Ability to document quality processes effectively. + Knowledge of quality assurance practices. + Understanding of sterilization processes and clean room protocols. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with medical devices. + Familiarity with materials like plastics, rubbers, and silicones. Work Environment The position is based in a medical device clean room environment, known for its high cleanliness standards. It is a 3rd shift role with hours from Monday through Friday, 3 pm to 11 pm, and involves working with about 25 other team members on the shift. Candidates may initially train on 1st shift but will likely start on 2nd shift. The facility requires business casual attire, including jeans, a plain shirt, and work boots. The role offers a 2nd shift premium of $1.25/hr. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
