Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in CNC machine maintenance, electrical/electronic systems, and industrial automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for independently handling preventive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring optimal machine uptime across a wide range of CNC and special-purpose machines. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on CNC machines (HMC/VMC/VTC/HTC/LASER HARDENING/SPM). + Troubleshoot and repair servo drives, motors, encoders, PLCs, HMIs, contactors, and CNC controllers (Fanuc, Siemens, Mazatrol, Toshiba, etc.). + Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, CNC, and PLC drawings, including ladder logic. + Replace and configure drives, cards, encoders, motors, PLCs, power supplies, etc. + Conduct Why-Why analysis, Fishbone diagrams, and use statistical tools for root cause analysis. + Monitor and improve MTBR, MTTR, and OEE metrics. + Capture and analyze predictive maintenance data for critical machines. + Coordinate with vendors for repair and refurbishment of CNC/PLC cards, drives, and PCBs. + Support PLC and HMI programming and parameter setting for CNC systems. + Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with maintenance standards and safety practices. + Lead or support machine dismantling, reassembly, and alignment with precision. **Required Skills & Experience:** + Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Mechatronics Engineering. + 10 + years of hands-on experience in CNC machine maintenance. + Strong knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, Mazatrol, OSP200. + Proficient in interpreting and analyzing electrical and PLC schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. + Good communication skills for interacting with customers and suppliers. **Preferred Certifications:** + Siemens/Fanuc CNC Maintenance Certification + PLC Programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.) + TPM/Lean Maintenance Training + Skill DescriptorsQuality Management: Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization.Level Working Knowledge: •  Utilizes quality indicators relevant to own unit or function.•  Adheres to organizational quality management processes and practices.•  Applies key aspects of continuous improvement processes and evaluates impact on quality.•  Uses quality evaluation tools and techniques such as walkthroughs and inspections.•  Works with quality assurance methods, tools and techniques.Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to design, plan and execute testing strategies and tactics to ensure product quality at all stages of manufacturing.Level Working Knowledge: •  Documents test process and results; prepares and analyzes defect-tracking reports.•  Summarizes features of a specific product-testing process and associated procedures.•  Tests components for compliance with functional requirements and established conventions.•  Discusses and compares usability, safety and integration testing.•  Develops product-testing procedures; participates in selecting testing environment and tools.Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Knowledge of the concepts, principles and techniques of root cause analysis (RCA); ability to use a structured approach to identify the causes of undesirable consequences in a manufacturing environment and the changes needed to prevent recurrences.Level Extensive Experience: •  Investigates a broad range of problems, determines causes, and finds resolutions.•  Recommends candidates for root cause analysis in spite of chaotic organizational conditions.•  Develops corrective action based on RCA results.•  Uses RCA techniques such as Re-enactment, Comparative Re-enactment, Re-construction.•  Guides others to recognize repeat situations even when they are distributed over time or happen to different people.•  Works with a variety of RCA approaches such as safety-based, production-based, process-based, failure-based, and systems-based.
