About the Job
Responsible for conducting routine audits of the quality system and training employees in quality procedures and grading techniques. Provide guidance and communicate updates in quality policies and grading to manufacturing personnel and Quality Graders. Assist in developing training materials, quality procedures, and forms, and generate reports using data from operator reports, grade sheets, and software systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote safety and conduct audits of processes, personnel, and equipment. Use SPC methods to identify quality improvements. Review and verify quality documentation. Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement efforts. Conduct product evaluations and Gage R & R studies. Update quality documents and perform duties of Quality Grader and Lead Worker as needed. Serve as a quality resource and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Proficient in all Quality Grader positions with potential for further education/training.
Strong oral and written communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Initiative, independence, and ability to complete projects timely.
Ability to lead continuous improvement efforts and work with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and quality database software.
Occasionally requires physical effort.
Skills:

Effective communicator and problem solver.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.
Comfortable working independently and supporting team efforts.
Experienced in quality system audits and data reporting.
