Minimum requirements:
National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Toolmaker trade tested - Red Seal 3 - 5 years relevant work experience in the automotive industry At least 2 years work experience with parts, assemblies alignment Set-up dimensional evaluation Good knowledge and understanding of Metrology Symbols and elements (VIM) Practical work experience of dimensional measuring equipment and instruments 3D Interpretation of CAD models and technical drawings Good understanding of communication between measuring facilities and software CMM or CNC programming experience Good presentation and report writing skills MS Office - CAD proficiency Develop, introduce, monitor and maintain measuring systems Analyze, initiate, coordinate and implement corrective action to quality discrepancies Assist, train, supervise Trainees and Junior Technicians and new employees Prepare and supply measurement and SPC data to Management Dimensional calibration of fixtures, gauges, measuring and torque testing instruments Consultant: Edna Anderhold - Dante Personnel Pretoria Silver Lakes
