Quality Technician
Job Title: Quality Technician
Job Description

This role involves spending 100% of your time on the production floor, performing quality checks, ensuring quality processes, and maintaining proper documentation. You will have minimal opportunities to work in the lab, primarily focusing on prepping samples to send out to a third-party testing partner. You will need to accurately interpret and follow reference documentation, such as specifications and SOPs, while complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs). Effective communication, both verbally and in written form, is essential for conveying Quality-related information.

ResponsibilitiesPerform quality checks on the production floor.Ensure adherence to quality processes.Maintain proper documentation of quality checks.Prepare samples for third-party testing.Interpret and follow reference documentation such as specifications and SOPs.Comply with GMPs and GLPs.Communicate Quality-related information effectively.Essential SkillsQuality control experience (if no degree).Associates degree in the sciences (no experience required).Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.Effective communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsInterest in a manufacturing/quality setting with upward mobility.Work Environment

This position is available on the first shift, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, in a clean manufacturing environment. You will work in a large facility with several production lines, requiring mobility to walk around and pull samples. The environment is positive with a strong company culture that focuses on employee development and training.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
