MAU is hiring a Quality Technician for our client in Conyers, GA. As a Quality Technician, you will support quality assurance processes, conduct inspections, and help maintain ISO 9001:2015 compliance in a manufacturing environment. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
Benefits Package 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Shift Information Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Occasional overtime required Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent 3 years of experience in quality assurance Experience with ISO 9001:2015 Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Proficiency in using calipers, height gauges, tape measures, and other inspection/test equipment Ability to perform dimensional inspections according to supplied drawings Preferred Education and Experience Technical school education 3 years of experience in manufacturing 1 year of experience with ISO 9001 General Requirements Basic knowledge of statistics and sampling techniques Working understanding of quality tools Strong analytical skills and sound judgment Effective communication with all levels of plant personnel Ability to update records and complete documentation accurately Willingness to support plant personnel training Ability to fill in for QA Manager as needed Commitment to plant rules and safety policies Essential Functions Support the QMS and understand ISO 9001:2015 requirements Assist in the Quality Improvement System (QIS) Perform First Piece Inspections Conduct in-process inspections and testing Document all inspection findings accurately Train plant personnel on quality practices Update quality-related records and forms Communicate and collaborate with plant personnel Comply with safety and plant policies Fill in for QA Manager when necessary Working Conditions Work performed on-site at a manufacturing facility Must interact regularly with production and quality teams Physical Demands Must be able to use various inspection tools Must perform inspections which may involve standing or bending
