Job Description

As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality through comprehensive inspections and audits. You will perform first piece, in process, and final inspections, document dimensions according to standard procedures and customer requirements, and assist machinists with quality issues. Your role will involve reading and interpreting engineering drawings, inspecting machine parts and products, and using various inspection tools.

ResponsibilitiesConduct first piece, in process, and final inspections.Document dimensions using standard procedures and customer requirements such as PPAP and corrective actions.Read and interpret engineering drawings and sketches.Inspect machine parts and products using inspection tools.Ensure quality standards are met through thorough audits.Assist machinists with resolving quality issues.Perform inspections using GD&T and CMM, Microvu, and other equipment.Engage in casting layout and troubleshooting activities.Maintain a professional attitude and demeanor.Take on additional duties as needed.Essential SkillsExperience with ISO standards and audits.Ability to inspect parts to customer blueprints using GD&T.Proficient in using CMM, Microvu, micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.Strong written and oral communication skills.Experience in CNC machining experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsSelf-motivated and independent worker.Able to support the Quality Manager directly.Casting layout experience.Problem analysis and resolution skills.Work Environment

Work in a clean CNC environment with good air flow, ensuring comfort even on hot days. Utilize advanced machinery including Mazak, Haas, Eurotech Elite, among others. The workplace includes both English and Spanish-speaking associates. Enjoy good tenure with an average employee tenure of 15 years, starting with 1 week PTO in the first year and 2 weeks in the second year, along with PPO benefits.E

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $35.00/hr.
