**Job Title: Quality Technician** **Job Description** The Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring machine shop and stamped parts meet all customer quality expectations. They will interact with clients, update internal and external computer systems, and manage quality on the production floor. Regular use of measuring equipment such as CMM, Micrometer, Comparator, Caliper, and Gauges is required, inspecting parts to extremely tight tolerance expectations and ensuring incoming materials meet quality standards. Regular computer usage to document quality control data is also part of the role. **Responsibilities** + Ensure machine shop and stamped parts meet customer quality expectations. + Interact with clients and update internal and external computer systems. + Manage quality on the production floor. + Use measuring equipment such as CMM, Micrometer, Comparator, Caliper, and Gauges. + Inspect parts to extremely tight tolerance expectations. + Ensure incoming materials meet quality standards. + Document quality control data using computers. **Essential Skills** + Experience with CMM and quality inspection. + Understanding of GD&T and blueprints. + Precision measuring skills. + Quality control expertise. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED. + Experience with precision measuring tools like Caliper, Micrometer, Comparator, and Gauges. + Computer and documentation skills. + Customer service and interaction skills. + Knowledge of Geometric Dimension and Tolerance. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy 100% paid health benefits for both the employee and dependents. The stamping machine room, louder due to high-speed stamping machines, requires provided hearing protection. All shop areas are climate-controlled, air-conditioned in summer, and heated in winter, maintaining a clean facility. The team consists of 50 employees across two shifts, with a dress code of jeans, clean shirts, safety glasses, and leather shoes/boots. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
